Beyoncé Rakes $24M To Perform In Dubai

The megastar singer has not staged a full-length concert since 2018 but has been tempted by a $24m offer to play at an Atlantis Hotel in Dubai.

The 43-story Atlantis The Royal hotel expected to host its Grand Reveal celebrity-packed opening party at the end of January, it seems likely that Beyonce in Dubai in 2023 will be part of the hotel’s opening plans.

According to a source quoted in the Sun: “Beyonce is being lined up to sing at Atlantis as part of a huge, luxury event in January.

“The hotel has put on a range of massive performances recently, with Kylie Minogue booked in to perform on New Year’s Eve.

“It is part of a star-studded line-up of celebrations the hotel is putting on.”

The Beyonce Dubai 2023 gig is being lined up for January 21.

Beyonce has not performed in stage to an audience since an appearance at the Global Citizen Festival in Johannesburg.

The Dubai gig would be a global event, with UK singer Robbie Williams and DJs Swedish House Mafia also set to perform the same weekend.

The insider continued, ‘It is part of a star-studded line-up of celebrations the hotel is putting on.

‘Invites have been sent out for the event with Beyonce — which is being billed as an hour-long performance — and it’s the hottest ticket in town.

The opening of the original Atlantis Dubai hotel was a major celebrity event with guests including Robert DeNiro, Priyanka Chopra and Kylie Minogue. 14 years later the Atlantis The Royal may eclipse the 2008 opening for star power.

According to the person with information, Swedish House Mafia is booked to DJ an afterparty.

The person in-the-know went on, ‘This will be Beyonce’s first proper live show since she performed at the Global Citizen Festival in Johannesburg in December 2018.

‘Tickets are like gold dust and it will be a who’s who of the showbiz world on the night.’

And the source added that “Queen Bey” was booked in a deal inked for more than $24 million.

Last week Beyonce announced Club Renaissance, a two-night event inviting fans to ‘experience Renaissance in spatial audio.’

Tickets to the 21+ event sold out ‘apparently in minutes’, according to a report from Variety.

Presented by Amazon Music, the event was open to fans over the ages of 21 and took place on the evenings of December 17 and 18.

Beyonce released Renaissance, her seventh studio album containing the lead single Break My Soul this past July.

The album has earned the lifelong entertainer nine nominations at the upcoming Grammy awards.

In putting the album together, she enlisted the help of artists like Drake, Pharrell Williams, The-Dream, Skrillex, and husband Jay-Z.
