Kondzilla’s Directed Show “Sintonia” Season 2 Will Be Out This October On Netflix

Sintonia is a Brazilian crime drama series that landed on Netflix on August 9, 2019. The show is directed by Konrad Dantas, a music online content creator whose musical prowess put the teen show on a high pedestal.

Season one premiered with 6 episodes on the streaming platform and fans who’ve devoured them have been relentlessly asking for more.

Sintonia season 2 is officially happening! The great news was shared by the main cast themselves during the TUDUM Festival Netflix last year via Renew Cancel TV.

Netflix also confirmed the news through their Brazilian social media page.

The plot will follow the perspective of three different characters, Doni, Nando and Rita, who grew up together in the same favela, under the influence of funk, drugs and the church. However, over time they transform their childhood experiences and follow very different paths.

The Plot: What Will Happen In Sintonia Season 2?

Sintonia follows three young friends as they navigate through life amidst a chaotic favela, in São Paulo, Brazil.

The show’s narrative is creatively unfolded through the perspectives of the three friends.

Season 1 introduced us to Doni, Nando, and Rita as they tried to pursue their dreams amidst music, drugs, and religion.

Season 1 concluded with Doni securing a recording contract after his moving live performance for his late father. Nando joined The Organization that’s meant to give him more security as he continues a more dangerous lifestyle. Meanwhile, Rita gets baptized and celebrated this with her long-time friends.

Director Konrad Dantas, aka Kondzilla, gave a little sneak peek on what to expect for season 2.

“We exceeded expectations in the first season. It was Netflix’s most popular Brazilian series in 2019, and our only challenge was to follow our hearts. In the second season, in addition to our love, we will also add the energy of the audience that felt represented on the series and is waiting for something even bigger”, Konrad revealed via Renew Cancel TV.

The three friends may have picked entirely different roads, but they’re all bound to cross paths again as the plot thickens in season 2.

The show will release on 27th October 2021. STAY TUNED!!
