Up-and-coming Lebanese singer/songwriter Zef launches his new single, “Leish Baddi Eb’a”  (Why would I stay).

After years honing his distinctive Arabic alternative-pop sound on the vibrant Batroun piano  bar circuit, Zef embarks on a journey to release his debut album later this year.

“Leish Baddi Eb’a” highlights the struggles of young Lebanese and Arab women and men who  are often forced to immigrate, leaving their home countries and loved ones behind, in search  of better living conditions abroad.

The song is composed by Zef, written by Anthony Khoury from the band Adonis, and produced by Sleiman Damien.

Zef is a 26 year old Lebanese alternative pop singer/songwriter.

Having honed his performance skills as a busker on the sidewalks of his hometown Byblos  during his teenage years, Zef is currently one of the most sought-after performers on the  vibrant piano bar circuits of Lebanon.
