Kevin Hart Will Star In Netflix Upcoming Movie “Lift”

The 42-year-old comedian will team up with director F. Gary Gray — the brain behind Straight Outta Comptonand The Fate of the Furious, among several other films — on the hotly-anticipated movie, which will begin production at the beginning of next year. Hart will depict a high-profile thief who is tempted by his ex-girlfriend and the FBI into completing an impossible heist on a Boeing 777 flight from London to Zurich.

The movie will be produced by Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon for Genre Pictures, Matt Reeves and Adam Kassan for 6th & Idaho and Hart and Brian Smiley for HartBeat Productions. Lift will be created under Hart and HartBeat Productions’ exclusive creative deal with Netflix, which currently includes the production of a comedy movie, titled Me Time, starring Mark Wahlberg and Regina Hall.
