Chart Data confirmed that the 2018 record is officially the first album from a female rapper to spend 175 weeks on the Billboard 200. Invasion of Privacy originally debuted at No. 1 upon its release, earning a total of 255,000 album-equivalent units including 103,000 from pure album sales, while its singles “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It” hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making her the first female rapper to earn several chart-toppers.

Cardi’s studio effort went on to win Best Rap Album at the GRAMMYs, beating albums like Travis Scott’s ASTROWORLD, Mac Miller’s Swimming, Nipsey Hussle’s Victory Lap and Pusha T’s Daytona. Invasion of Privacy was also nominated for Album of the Year, making it the first record from a female rapper to be nominated in 15 years.

The 28-year-old artist is currently working on her upcoming album and recently appeared on Lizzo’s “Rumors.” Between Invasion of Privacy and now, Cardi teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion for the record-breaking cut “WAP” and dropped singles like “UP” and “Wild Side” with Normani.
