Red Bull BC One is an annual international B-Boy competition organized by the energy drink company Red Bull. It is an individual B-Boy competition, notable for being the only one of the major international breaking championships to not include a crew event. The main event is a knockout tournament featuring sixteen B-Boys, chosen for exceptional skills in the dance and good character, competing in one-on-one battles decided by a panel of five judges. Regional Finals are held for North America, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Middle East & Africa. The winners of each region go on and participate in the World Finals

The 2018 Red Bull BC One World Finals was tremendous on another level. History was made this year  and a new champion was crowned, with so many moments and stories that made this event a special one.

For the first time, Red Bull BC One had 3 bboy’s of the same crew participated in the world finals. From  El Mouwahidine crew Moroccan B-Boys, The Wolfer, Lil Zoo and Cri6, rivals as kids, brothers with a bond of unity as adults.

Lil Zoo and Cri6 were already chosen to be in Top 16 World Final line up.

However, The Wolfer from  El Mouwahidine crew was the only bboy in history to win the Last Chance Cypher and reach to the second round of the World Final BC One Zurich. He won his first round by eliminating Nori from Japan and loosing to Luigi in the Quarter Finals.

Another proud moment to add in this years edition of Red Bull BC One World Final Zurich, The first ever B-Girl World Final was introduced.  B-Girl Ami became the first B-Girl world champion of Red Bull BC One in Zurich.

Ami Mentions ” For me, I feel so heavy and I’m so glad. Now I’m really proud of myself” .

Finally, after 10 years of hardwork and dedication from winning the Moroccon Cyphers to African Cyphers and then taking part for several times at the World Final stage, Lil Zoo finally took the at this years Red Bull BC One World Final Zurich. This was the best gift he got by winning the title and crowing as the new Red Bull BC One Champion on his birthday.
