With just a month to go until the region’s largest popular cultural festival takes place – we wanted to share a quick round up of the A-List celebrities who are set to appear at this year’s Middle East Film and Comic Con!

Middle East Film and Comic Con takes place on 11-13 April 2019 at Dubai World Trade Centre. Returning for its 8th edition and hosting over 45,000 enthusiasts, the event has grown to become the region’s largest popular culture festival. Offering a mix of international and regional entertainment and brands from Film, TV, Sci-Fi, Anime, Manga, Gaming, Comics and Collectables – it’s the ultimate destination for a fun and action-packed day out.  Fans can meet celebrities, buy exclusive merchandise, watch film previews and screenings, take part in creative workshops, compete in gaming tournaments and more!

Luke Cage star, Mike Colter:

Mike Colter, who shot to worldwide fame as the star of Marvel’s Luke Cage and Jessica Jones! Visitors will be able to meet with Mike across all three days of the show, as well as get up close and personal, by watching him live in the MEFCC Theatre, where he’ll be taking part in celebrity panels and Q&As. Watch out for weekly MEFCC announcements of show content until the event takes place on 11-13 April 2019.

Ross Marquand from the Walking Dead!

After portraying the late Paul Newman on ‘Mad Men’, Marquand went on to land perhaps his best known role, Aaron, on ‘The Walking Dead’. Following this came notable credits on ‘The Mind Project’, ‘The Last Tycoon’ and ‘Brockmire’, as well as a cameo in ‘The Avengers: Infinity War’ as the perennial super villain Red Skull.

 

Arrow Star Katie Cassidy

Katie Cassidy, the female star of popular DC TV Series ‘Arrow’ is the daughter of music artist David Cassidy and has made her own mark with a string of roles in such popular TV hits as Melrose Place and Gossip Girl, before achieving worldwide fame as Laurel Lance “Black Canary” in DC’s acclaimed superhero show, Arrow.
